Looks like my Simcoe Pale took first place in category 10 American Ale for the western region of the 2009 Samuel Adams Longshot competition. I didn't win best of show and so I won't be a contender for the 6 pack, but it sure feels good to win the category. I guess that recipe is a keeper.
BTW, congrats to Andy for winning a gold for his stout at the AHA last month. Go LBHB!
